AR conducts pre-recruitment medical examination camp

Churachandpur, August 09 2025: In order to prepare youth for a future in Armed Forces, Assam Rifles organized a comprehensive pre-recruitment medical examination for aspiring Agniveer and SSC/GD candidates from Churachandpur district yesterday.

The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation comprising both male and female aspirants who had successfully cleared the written examination and were undergoing physical training with Assam Rifles, said a press release issued by IGAR (S).

The examination encompassed detailed evaluations of general physical parameters, visual acuity, and ENT health, aligned with the stringent medical benchmarks of the Armed Forces.

Candidates were also sensitized to key medical criteria, frequently encountered disqualifying conditions, and the critical importance of sustained physical fitness.

Those identified with medical concerns or physical anomalies were offered personalized guidance and encouraged to seek further consultation at the District Hospital, Churachandpur, for timely intervention and corrective care.
