Homeland Security, AR hold 'Securing life' blood donation camp

Imphal, July 06 2026:
Homeland Security, in collaboration with 9 Sector Assam Rifles, IGAR (South), organised the Homeland Security Blood Donation Camp 2026 today at Sanjeevani Complex, North AOC, under the theme "Securing Life" .
More than 65 male and female personnel of Homeland Security voluntarily donated blood to support life-saving efforts and community welfare.
The camp was organised in coordination with the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch; Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS; State Blood Transfusion Council; and National Health Mission, Manipur.
The initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation, spread awareness on the importance of timely blood availability, and encourage humanitarian values among security personnel and citizens.
The programme reflected the joint commitment of Homeland Security and 9 Sector Assam Rifles towards public service and social responsibility.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajkumar Babloo Singh, Director, Homeland Security said, "Blood donation is one of the purest forms of service to humanity.
At Homeland Security, we train our personnel not only to be disciplined and professional, but also to become responsible citizens who can contribute positively to society.
This camp reflects our commitment to saving lives and building a culture of compassion" .
