Book release and student felicitation held at YK College, Wangjing

Thoubal, April 06 2026: , Apr 6: A bookrelease-cum-felicitation programme was held today at YK College, Wangjing, organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college, celebrating academic contributions and academic achievements.

The programme held at the Mini Conference Hall of the college, was attended by Principal of YK College, Prof Kh Jugindro; Associate Prof O Binoykumar; and Retd Associate Prof Dr W Kumar as presidium members.

During the function, a book titled "Understanding China's Economy" authored by retired Associate Professor Dr W Kumar, former Head of the Dept of Economics, along with two other books, "Wakat" and "Ipa Ipugi Warida Kei", authored by retd Associate Prof N Manikchand of the Dept of Education were officially released.

As part of the programme, four students of YK College who represented the institution at the Inter-University events organised by the Manipur University were felicitated for their participation and achievements.
