Happy Home celebrates foundation day

Ukhrul, December 04 2025: Happy Home, an old age home located at Awungtang in Kamjong district headquarters, celebrated its 7th foundation day today under the theme "Dignity and Joy" .

The program commenced with a prayer offered by the Pastor of Kamjong Church This was followed by a vibrant line-up of cultural performances, where elderly residents showcased traditional dances and rituals.

Fun competitions added colour to the celebration, rekindling a youthful spirit among the senior citizens and promoting inter-generational learning.

As a gesture of love and respect to the elderly persons, Happy Home Kamjong distributed special gifts to 80 elderly residents.

The event witnessed the presence of the Commandant of 8th AR.

2-IC of 8th AR, president of Raizan Long, pastors, village headman and representatives from the CSO of Kamjong district, whose participation added significance to the celebration.

The celebration concluded with a grand feast jointly hosted by Happy Home and EARD of Kamjong.
