38th felicitation programme of EGM School held

Thoubal, October 04 2024: Evergreen Flowers' (EGF) School hosted its 3 8th felicitation function to honour and encourage the meritorious students and teachers of the school today.

The felicitation programme was held at the premises of the school located at Thoubal Ningombam graced by Professor Naorem Mohilal Meitei, Director, College Development Council, Manipur University; Huirongbam Ibohal, president, EGF School; Dr Rajkumari Lilapati Devi, Assistant Professor, Head in-charge, Department of Mass Communication, MU and Dr Md Hamidur Rahaman, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, MU as the chief guest, functional president and guests of honour.

The gathering paid a floral tribute to the deceased teachers, students and founder members of the school.

Additionally, they observed a 2-minute silence to pay their respects to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives during the course of the conflict.

On the occasion, the 20th edition of the school magazine was also released.

Awards sponsored by generous donors were handed over to meritorious students including students who secured letter marks and teachers who produced subject toppers in the HSLC Exam 2024 conducted by BOSEM and male and female Student of the Year 2024 as well as class toppers from Class I to X .

A total of Rs 4,38,980 were handed out to the students and teachers in cash awards accompanied with citations and mementos.

Students of the school also entertained the audience with their performances of Thang-Ta and Yoga as a part of the programme.
