Project-G begins 'End the Plastic' campaign

Imphal, June 04 2024: Ahead of the World Environment Day, Project-G Foundation launched 'End the Plastic Pollution' awareness campaign from Tuesday.

According to a statement of Project-G Foundation, the campaign aims to create awareness among the public on the detrimental affect of plastic wastes to the environment.

On the first day of the campaign, volunteers of the organisation collected plastic wastes from the stretch of Samurou Keithel to Chandranadi stream on Tuesday.

The statement emphasised on ceasing irresponsible activities that could damage the environment for a better future.

The organisation had commenced different forms of campaign from June 1 onwards and the 'End the Plastic' campaign has been kicked off from Tuesday in connection with the upcoming World Environment Day observance, the statement said, while urging public to refrain from dumping plastic wastes irresponsibly.
