Kuki Inpi reiterates demand

Reminding of over 60 memorandums submitted earlier, Kuki Inpis of Manipur, Assam and Nagaland have forwarded yet another memorandum to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi highlighting the demand for peaceful settlement over the murder of over 900 innocent Kukis, uprooting of over 360 Kuki villages and displacing over 1,00,000 Kukis by NSCN (IM).
Signed jointly by Kumpi of Kuki Inpis A-Lenthang and Advisor of Kuki Inpis of NE India and Ex-Minister Holkhomang Haokip pointed out that Kuki Inpis have requested peaceful settlement of the issue through submission of over 60 memorandums to five Prime Ministers, but surprisingly there has been no response so far nor granted any meeting for discussion of the issue.
The memorandum further asserted that if the proposal of Supra-state body for the Nagas is correct, then it would be taken that the innocent Kuki civilians of India have been killed at the instigation of government of India.
