PM Kisan Diwas celebrated in hill districts

Imphal, August 02 2025: NONEY: The live webcasting PM Kishan Diwas commemorating the 20th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme was organised by ICAR-Krishi-Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tamenglong in collaboration with District Agriculture Office (DAO), Tamenglong on Saturday.

A total of 212 farmers including PM Kishan beneficiaries participated in the event which was attended by Tamenglong Haochong Circle ADC Thambou Bariam, Nungnang circle former ADC member Meirijin Rongmei Naga and staff from the DAO, Tamenglong.

The programme was marked by live webcasting of the 20th Instalment of PM-KISAN scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, awareness on PM KISHAN, interaction with the experts and dignitaries.

The function ended with an input distribution programme wherein vegetable seed kits and micronutrient mixtures were distributed.

SENAPATI: The programme of 20th instalment of PM-KISAN scheme was organised by KVK, Senapati at its campus at Hengbung which was attended by BJP-ST Morcha national spokesperson KS Khaie Leo as chief guest, Senapati DAO James Lavei as functional president and former state general secretary (admin) Vino K Samuel as guest of honour.

At the event, KVK, Senapati chief technical officer (plant protection) Dr David Kamei delivered the keynote address and District Veterinary Department, Senapati veterinary officer spoke on 'Livestock Insurance'.

Later, KVK, Senapati distributed seeds and sprayers to selected farmers of the district.

IMPHAL: ICAR-KVK, Churachandpur celebrated PM Kisan Diwas commemorating the 20th instalment of PM-KISAN scheme at,its campus at Pearsonmun village, Churachandpur district on Saturday by webcasting the main programme of PM Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

In a, release, KVK, Churachandpur informed that the inaugural session was attended by BJP Churachandpur District president Thangam as chief guest and KVK, Churachandpur senior scientist cum head Manoj Kumar Pandey as president in the presence of Molhoi village chief Lhaichin; RBI Regional Office, Imphal protocol officer Hemant Kumar; BJP Churachandpur District general secretary Son Gangte: KVK, Churachandpur SMS-agro-forestry Bs Hmannihring Anal and STO-extension Manngaihkim.

The programme was participated by 241 farmers from 14 different villages of Churachandpur district.

During the programme, Kharif vegetable seeds were distributed to all participants, it added.

KAKCHING: The 20th instalment of PM-KISAN Yojana was marked at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Chandel, with 107 farmers receiving micronutrient fertilisers and vegetable seeds on Satuday.

SDC Promilata Monsang Wanglar attended as chief guest, joined by district agriculture officer SP Lovejoy Anal and ICAR-KVK head Dr A Ameeta Devi.

The programme featured a live webcast on the instalment release and a farmer-scientist interaction.
