Imphal, May 02 2026: The DM College of Commerce Alumni Association held "FinBiz", an Accountancy and Business Idea competition, today at the college conference hall.

The event was graced by several prominent academic and industry figures, including Prof Kh Rajen Singh, Principal.

DM College of Commerce; Chongtham Sanjoy Singh, president, DM College of Commerce Alumni Association; Thangjam Joykumar Singh, MD, Thangjam Agro Industries Pvt Ltd; Prof N Jayanti, Dean, School of Business Studies, DM University; Dr Th Priyokumar Singh, Coordinator, BBA Programme, DM College of Commerce; and Prof Ch Ibomcha Meitei.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjoy said the event aims to build business mindsets in students and guide them toward income-generating, self-reliant paths.

While the Accountancy contest is held annually, this year marked the first Business Idea Competition, he added.

Altogether 130 students took part in the Accountancy Competition and 20 in the Business Idea Competition.

Winners received cash prizes, certificates, & mementos.
