Thoubal, October 01 2024: Nongpok Ningthou Apanthoibi Trust performed the age-old ritual of Langban Heisoi Chara Tamba at the shrine of Ibudhou Nongpok Ningthou Apanthoibi located at Thoubal Nongpok Ching today.

The ritual was accompanied by a worship ceremony where prayers and oblations were offered to the deities for a peaceful Manipur.

Speaking in this connection, Ningombam Rajen, secretary, Nongpok Ningthou Apanthoibi Trust said that Langban Heisoi Chara was offered today to the ancestors of all seven Yek and nine Salai as well as the martyrs who have laid down their lives for the motherland during the ongoing conflict.

He said that the Trust offered prayers to Ibudhou and Ibendhou to restore peace and normalcy in the State.
