RIMS conducts Swachhta Health Camp

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, successfully organised a Swachhta Health Camp today attheManipur State Pensioner Union Building, Pishumthong, Imphal West as part of the Swachhta ActionPlan (SAP)2025-26.As per a release issued by RIMS, the camp was conducted in collaboration with the Manipur State Pensioner Union.
Led by Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, Department of Physiology and Nodal Officer, SAP 2025-26/Kaya Kalp, RIMS, Imphal, a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals from various departments- Medicine, Orthopaedics, Respiratory Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Physiology, and Community Medicine, provided comprehensive medical services during the camp.
A total of 70 individuals benefited from the initiative, with free medicines distributed to all beneficiaries.
During the camp, pensioners and senior citizens also had the opportunity to interact with Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, who addressed their health-related queries and concerns.
Speaking at the event, Purojit Laiyengbam, general secretary of Manipur State Pensioner Union, extended heartfelt appreciation to the RIMS authorities for their proactive efforts and dedicated service.
He also expressed the Union's desire to organise similar collaborative programmes in the future.
