CCpur, December 30 2022: As a part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Churachandpur, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre organised an "Interaction with VIP/VVIP" programme at the office premise today under the theme, "Keep your surrounding clean" .

The inaugural function was attended by Khaikhopau Ngaihte, ADC Churachandpur; Dr L Somendro Singh, Head i/c KVK Churachandpur; and T Khaikhomang, ex-MDC Lanva Constituency as presidium members.

The main attraction of the event was a deliberation cum interaction by the dignitaries with the participants, especially the farming communities, rural youths, village social workers and Church associates to keep up with the cleanliness mission initiated by the Government of India to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic.

Dustbins were also distributed to the participants as a token of encouragement during the event.

Altogether, 48 persons attended the programme.
