PPCM to commemorate Irabot

Imphal, August 30 2025: Under the aegis of the Protection and Preservation Committee, Manipur (PPCM), the Lamyanba Irabot Ningsing Thouram Observation Committee (LINTOC), Manipur is set to conduct discussions on Lamyanba Irabot's ideas throughout the month of September.

As per a press release issued by Shyam Khuman, convenor, LINTOC, the month dedicated to Lamyanba Irabot will kick off with a discussion session at PPCM office at Waheng Leikai along with a floral tribute.

Similar events will be organised on September 21, September 26 and September 30 which are all significant dates marking the day Hijam Irabot went underground, his death anniversary and his birth anniversary respectively.

On these specific dates, State level discussions and cultural programmes will be conducted.
