Kangpokpi, November 28 2025: A team from the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (DA & FW) conducted a joint survey in Keithelmanbi and Daili villages on November 27 .

The team was led by Ravi Ranjang Singh.

Director, and Sarita Tirumala (CPMU) and accompanied by Mohd Yasser Ahmed Khan, Joint Secretary (Agriculture); Lamginlun Vaiphei, SDC Champhai; and LS Lavei James.

District Agriculture Officer, Senapati/Kangpokpi, along with their staff.

The visit aimed to assess the farming rights management system and explore methods for farmer registration in the Farmer Registry, guide the State in the preparation of georeferenced village maps to support the Digital Crop Survey (DCS) and collaborate with the State towards the creation of farm IDs.

Notably, these villages have been identified as model villages in Kangpokpi district for implementing advanced agricultural management and digital initiatives.
