Bishnupur, October 28 2024: A workshop cum production on Lairembi Dhumel was held today at Gokulanda Mandop located at Nachou Mayai Leikai under Bishnupur AC.

The workshop was organised by the Vishnu Art & Culture Research Training Centre Bishnupur under the funding of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The event was graced by Professor P Gunindro Singh, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University of Culture; Professor Thiyam Yaima Singh, Principal, Vishnu Art & Culture Research Training Centre; Laishram Radhakanta Singh, Registrar, Manipur University of Culture; L Surjit Singh, Deputy Registrar, Manipur University of Culture; M Bilkee Singh, secretary, Vishnu Art & Culture Research Training Centre and L Menjor Singh, Member, Nachou Zilla Parishad Administrative Committee as the presidium members.

The Centre is affiliated with Manipur University of Culture.

Noted artists showcased Dhumel production before the gathering at today's function.
