ICC Manipur announces Irabot Memorial Awards 2026

Imphal, September 27 2026: Irabot Celebration Committee (ICC), Manipur has announced the "Irabot Ningshing Mana" for 2026 to be presented at Irabot Bhavan, Imphal.

This year's awards include: Dronacharya awardee L Ibomcha Singh for sports; Top Khongnangkhong based award in memory of Moirangthem Ibohal, will go to Thokchom Yaiskul; Thiyam Meghachandra Journalist Award will be given to SK TV chief editor Raj Nongthombam; Ngangom Mahendra Dedicated Law Practitioners Award will go to former District and Sessions Judge Nouteneshwori Devi.

Other awardees are: S Bhagini Devi (Nongmaithem Beni Devi Women Social Activist Award), Lanbonlung Longmei Kabui (Thokchom Achouba Integrity Award), Dr Khangembam Shamungou (Akoijam Thoudangamba Environmentalist Award), N Amusana Devi (Thingbaijam Nongyai Shinmee Award), N Nimai Singh (Thangjam Babu Best Farmer Award), AK Jugeshwar (Nongthombam Iboton Teacher Award), Konsam Thoiba (Thingbaijam Ngangbi Singh Memorial Teacher Award), Yumnam Nabakumar (Khangjrakpam Mani Driver Award), H Indu Devi (Khoisnam Kullachandra Theatre Activist Award), Potsangbam Ongbi Nolini Devi (RK Bhuvonsana Manipuri Dance & Cultural Award) and N Ibomcha (Ngangom Mamta Shumang Leela Vocalist Award).

Awards for March Past, Irabot Seitha Isei and Isei Mayek competitions were also announced.
