District-level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament to be held at SEMCO

Imphal, February 27 2026: The South East Manipur College (SEMCO), Komlathabi, Chandel, under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS), will organise the District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament under the National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) on March 2, 2026 .

The theme for this year's programme is "50 Years of Emergency: Lessons for Indian Democracy" .

A total of 10 participants will be selected to represent the district at the State-level competition, which is scheduled to be held between March 1 and March 15, 2026, at the State Assembly.

The champions at the State-Level will further get the opportunity to participate at the Parliament House in New Delhi after March 15, 2026 .

Interested students of SEMCO and United College, Lambung, have been informed to register through the My Bharat portal to take part in the event.
