Punjab & Sind Bank marks 119th Foundation Day with CSR initiatives

Marking its 119th Foundation Day, Punjab & Sind Bank carried out several Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives across Imphal on Wednesday.
Under the CSR programme, the bank donated three wheelchairs to Mother's Care Hospital & Research Centre, Sagolband.
It also provided one RO water cooler filter each for the OPD block of JNIMS Hospital and for Manipur Technical University.
The handover was attended by Longjam Bishwash, Senior Manager In-charge of the Dewlahland branch, Lucky S Panmei, Branch Manager of Imphal branch, A Sharewin Uarah, Branch Manager of Laipham Siphai branch, and other bank staff.
Speaking at the event, Longjam Bishwash said the donations were part of the bank's 119th anniversary celebrations and reaffirmed its commitment to public welfare.
He added that the bank will continue to extend support to hospitals and institutions for community benefit.
Dr Kh Ratankumar, Chairman and MD of Mother's Care Hospital, thanked the bank, noting the wheelchairs would greatly aid patients.
Dr Kh Lokeshwar, MS of JNIMS, said the RO water cooler would benefit OPD visitors and staff by ensuring access to safe drinking water, urging all to use it responsibly.
