Awareness programme on PACS held

Imphal, June 22 2026: The Cooperation Department, Government of Manipur, today organised an Awareness and Motivational Programme on Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) at the Registrar of Cooperative Societies Office Conference Hall, Lamphelpat.

Registrar of Cooperative Societies W Ibohal, MANIREDA Scientific Officer Ningombam Brojendro, NCDC Assistant Director Hitesh Ramani, and NABARD AGM Th Kiran attended as resource persons.

Ibohal said all departmental projects have been computerised on the National Portal for real-time monitoring by the Ministry.

He urged PACS to fully implement the Ministry's modules and maintain daily reports, stressing that manual practices are no longer valid.

He added that PACS must take up area-specific activities to ensure transactions, explore schemes for funding, and not rely solely on Government.
