LMG extends monetary aid

In continuation of its philanthropic activities, Like Minded Group (LMG) extended monetary aid to Kh Mangijao (45 years) of Tendongyang Makha Leikai whose paddy stacks kept for threshing at Tendongyang Lodong Loukon, Lamshang was burnt by unknown persons on November 18.A team of LMG led by secretary, Ojit Sorokhaibam, asst.
secretary Surendra Ningomba and other members of LMG visited the residence of Kharaijam Mangijao, and handed over the monetary assistance.
Ojit Sorokhaibam termed the incident unfortunate and condemned the incident in the strongest terms.
"At this juncture, amid the crisis in the state when farmers in the State are unable to harvest their crops, burning of paddy stacks by unknown miscreants is very unfortunate", Ojit added.
He further appealed to the miscreants to not repeat the act in the future and urged the government to book the culprit.
The LMG will offer a cash reward of Rs 20,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of perpetrators and will keep the identity confidential, added LMG.
