Repair Kakching Lamkhai to Wabagai Lamkhai Road by Oct 27, demands AKCCC

Kakching, October 21 2024: The All Kakching Clubs Coordinating Committee (AKCCC) has demanded renovation of the road stretch from Kakching Lamkhai to Wabagai Lamkhai, which is part of National Highway 137 (A), by October 27 .

Ksh Dharmadas, president, AKCCC has cautioned that intense agitations will be launched from October 28 onwards if their demand remains unfulfilled.

Dharmadas further shared that the decision was made during a joint meeting with Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association (KBBWA), Joint Non-Government Voluntary Organisation (JNGVO), Wizz Kids, Volunteers Co-ordinating Committee and other notable groups held today.

Highlighting the numerous potholes dotting the road stretch, he addressed the dangers faced by the commuters as many have met with accidents as a result.
