Two hurt in mishap along Imphal-Moreh road

Imphal, June 21 2013 :
At least, two persons including the driver of a Van plying along Imphal-Moreh road sustained injuries when it collided with a Shaktiman truck which does not have registration no and nameplate.
The incident happened at a spot about 2 kms from Moreh under Moreh Police Station.
The Van bearing registration no.MNO-1X/6448 was coming out from Moreh when the Shaktiman truck collided against it, leaving the van driver and another passenger injured and sped off from the crime scene without stopping.

The injured driver of the van identified as Kongkham Bikram Singh (29) s/o Bheigyachandra Singh of Utlou Chanura Bazar is also said to be the owner of the ill-fated van.
Before the arrival of police, Bikram disclosed to the gathering that the Shaktiman truck involved in the incident did not have registration number or nameplate.
President of KSO, Moreh Block H Thongngam, who was incidentally present on the occasion, gave the assurance of picking up the Shaktiman by all means.
Moreh police have taken up a case in connection with the incident and injured people admitted to Moreh Hospital for necessary treatment.
