69 Bn CRPF renovates Aided Primary School, constructs toilet block at Khonglong-2

Imphal, January 21 2026:
In a continued effort to strengthen civil-security forces relations and confidence, the 69 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Mantripukhri, under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector, renovated the Aided Primary School and constructed a new toilet block at Khonglong-2 on Wednesday.
According to a release issued by the 69 Bn CRPF, the initiative aims to provide much-needed infrastructural and moral support to schools that nurture and groom underprivileged students, who are regarded as the backbone of the nation.
Speaking at the event, Commandant of 69 Bn CRPF, S A Rojan Zimik stated that the battalion remains committed to fostering goodwill and cooperation with local communities and education institutions dedicated to the growth and development of underprivileged students.
He expressed hope that Aided Primary School, Khonglong-2, would continue to play a vital role in shaping responsible citizens of the state and the nation at large.
The Commandant also conveyed his happiness that the CRPF could contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the school.
The function was attended by unit officers, village chairman of Khonglong-2 Gaithaorei Gangmei; School headmaster Poungam Gonmei; senior teacher Makulan Gangmei; along with villagers, parents and students.
