Imphal expo 2014 concludes

Imphal, December 20 2014:
The 10-day long Imphal Expo, 2014 jointly organised by theNational Small Scale Industries Corporation Ltd, Uripok Achom Leikai and Manipur Industries Development Council, Imphal was concluded today at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen.
Speaking as the chief guest of the function.
Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam said that Manipur has many skilful and talented people.
He urged all concerned to rely on the products of the skilful artisans and craftsmen of the State.
They would obviously become a successful innovators or entrepreneurs with the support of the people.
The economy of the State would also improve and become viable when these entrepreneurs or innovators find marketing avenues, he said.
The Minister also said that the Takyel Industrial Estate would soon witness a change.
There are also plans to set up industrial estate in other districts of the State under MSME.
The valedictory programme was also attended amongst others by Phurailatpam Gunachandra Sharma, president of Manipur State Shumang Leela Council; P Loken Singh, Chairman of Manipur Industries Development Council.
Takyelpat and D Ghatak, Sr Branch Manager, NSIC Ltd, Guwahati Branch as the guests of honour and president respectively.
