Imphal, December 19 2024: The JAC Against the Missing of Laishram Kamalbabu has decided to suspend its agitation against the disappearance of Laishram Kamalbabu inside the 57th Mountain Division Headquarters, Leimakhong since November 25, 2024 from December 20 in view of the Christmas festival.

Even though the protest demonstrations would be relaxed for the public, the prohibition on army vehicles/personnel will remain in force, said a press release issued by the JAC .

"Meanwhile, Social Welfare Minister Heikham Dingo informed us that a Cabinet meeting will be held soon on the disappearance of Laishram Kamalbabu and some positive developments can be expected", the JAC said.

It also conveyed gratitude to all the people, specially womenfolk who came from different localities and took part in the sustained agitation.

It further appealed to all the people to join the next course of agitation.
