Imphal, December 19 2008: A BOOK entitled "New Insights Into The Glorious Heritage of Manipur" edited by H Dwijasekhar Sharma will be released at a function to be held on Monday, December 22 at 1 pm at the Manipur Hindi Parishad on Assembly Road here.

Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker, Dr S Budhichandra will be the chief guest of the function and will release the book.

MLA and former Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam will preside over the function.

Former Dean of Law, Gauhati University, Prof N Sanajaoba, who had written 'Foreword' in the book and former Dean of Social Sciences, Manipur University, Prof Ksh Bimola Devi, who has written 'Blurb' (a brief commendatory publicity notice on the book jacket) will also be felicitated at the book-release function by the Manitombi Devi Educational Trust.
