Imphal, October 17 2026: The 5-day Skill Development Training Programme on making of agarbatti, dhoop cone, hawan samagri and perfumery concluded on Saturday at Training Hall, MASTEC Complex, Takyelpat.

The programme was organised by MASTEC in association with Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal and Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC), Kannauj, UP as part of joint project "Sustainable Utilization of Bioresources Towards Bioentrepreneurship and Socio-Economic Development of Manipur" under Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

30 farmers, artisans and individuals participated.

Resource persons Kamlesh Kumar, Scientific Officer and Pragya Gupta, Project Associate from FFDC imparted practical skills.

Director MASTEC Dr Kh Rakesh distributed certificates to the participants.
