Imphal, December 16 2024: Water Resources Department, Government of Manipur, has informed all concerned that the Lamphel-Shija Hospital Road stretch from Sewage Treatment Plant of PHE Department and boundary fencing of NIT, Manipur of about 245m would be dredged/excavated for connecting the Eastern side and the Western side of the newly developed/rejuvenated Lamphelpat Lake and a cable stayed bridge of 245m would be constructed.

"Therefore, the concerned entity owning agencies/firms are hereby requested to shift or reallocate any existing utilities within the designated site", said a release issued by Remmei Alimmei, Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department.

The Department also mentioned that the reallocation of these utilities is deemed essential to facilitate the uninterrupted progress of the project.
