Free eye camp held at Yairipok Bishnunaha

Thoubal, June 16 2026: The Bishnunaha Youth Federation (BYFY), in association with Reva Eye Foundation, Lalambung Makhong, organised a free eye care cum awareness camp at the BYFY Community Hall located at Yairipok Bishnunaha Pukhri Achouba Mapal.

During the camp, a team of doctors and opthalamic assistants from Reva Eye Foundation provided a range of eye care services, inclulding free computerised eye testing, vision correction, myopia management, colour vision testing, cataract screening, glaucoma screening, retina imaging, and treatment for dry eyes and conjuncivitis.

Residents of Bishnunaha and nearby localities turned up in large numbers to avail themselves of the services.

Medicines and spectacles were made available at subsidized rates, while free medicines and spectacles were distributed to senior citizens above the age of 70 .
