Imphal, February 16 2026: A "Farmers' Field Day on Rapeseed-Mustard" was organised by All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Rapeseed-Mustard, College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal at Heinoubok in Bishnupur district.

The programme was conducted under the NEH Component of AICRP on Rapeseed-Mustard Scheme, ICAR-Indian Institute of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

It was attended by the College of Agriculture, Department of GPB, CAU, Professor Th Renuka; MTTC and VTC Coordinator, Professor Robindro, along with scientists and agricultural specialists.

Around 100 farmers from different parts of Bishnupur district participated in the field day.

During the programme, the farmers and experts visited rapeseed-mustard cultivation fields, spread over approximately 74 hectares of agricultural land in the district.
