Consultative programme on quality education organised

Chandel, July 15 2024: A one-day consultative and interaction programme on 'Quality Education' was conducted at United College, Lambung in Chandel today under the aegis of Naga Students' Union (NSUC), Chandel.

The programme stressed on the need to impart quality education among the students.

Addressing the gathering, Principal of United College Dr Bd Thumdal shared his views and ideas on quality education and the efforts put in by the college, its teaching and nonteaching staff to help improve the education system, said a statement by the college.

Stressing on quality education in the district, he said that it is vital for every individual to play their role in improving the educational system in the district.

And he called on teachers, students and student bodies to contribute to achieve the cause.

NSUC president RI Elly Anal exhorted the teaching and non-teaching staff to be more active and committed towards achieving the goal of quality and progressive education.

He also called on the staff of the college to be more strict with the attendance of the students so as to impart better education.

A resolution was also unanimously taken to work unitedly and steadfastly to bring quality and value-based education.
