RUDA Academy celebrates 28th foundation day

Thoubal, January 15 2026: RUDA Academy, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education Manipur (CBSE), New Delhi, celebrated its 28th foundation day today at its campus located at Thoubal Wangmataba Mathak Leikai with a series of academic and cultural programmes.

The event was attended by Head of the Department of Education, Manipur University, Prof Keisham Shitaljit Singh as the chief guest; Manipur State Health Services, DMPH Thoubal, District Nodal Officer and PDF Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr Jina Heigrujam as the functional president.

Noted singer and actor Hamom Sadananda; and renowned folk performer Benita Laishram graced the occasion as guests of honour.

As part of the celebration, the dignitaries released the Academy's Annual Bulletin for the academic year 2026-27 .

Meritorious students who secured outstanding marks in the AISSE Class X and AISSE Class XII examinations were felicitated.

The academy also honoured students who represented Manipur in the 69th National School Games, 2025-26; along with the best students and best teachers of the academy, by presenting appreciation certificates in recognition of their achievements.
