Yoga demo held at UNACCO School

Imphal, June 14 2026: Under the 'One District, One Activity' programme of Lions International District 322-D, a yoga demonstration themed 'Yoga Activities, Say No to Drugs' was held today at UNACCO College campus, Khongman.

The event was jointly organised by Lions Club of Imphal Golden Pride, Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol, Lions Club of Ningol Collective, Lions Club of Imphal Central, Lions Club of Imphal Greater, and Lions Club of Canchipur Greater in collaboration with UNACCO School, Khongman.

Students of the school participated in the yoga demonstration.

Speaking on the occasion, general secretary of Lions Club of Golden Pride, Ranjita Leimapokpam.

said rising competition has increased pressure and stress among students.

The yoga session was organised to help students reduce stress and improve concentration in studies.

She added that besides yoga, awareness was also given to students on drug abuse and premature sex to safeguard them from such risks.
