Imphal, January 14 2026: The Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland) has urged the Government to take immediate action to resolve the crisis arising from the incident at Ireng (Puilong) Naga village.

The Zeliangrong group, in a statement, stated that every issue can be resolved through dialogue.

Appealing to all groups and individuals to shun any violence and respect the traditional land and boundaries, it added that the Zeliangrong community remains steadfast in its Commitment to harmonious coexistence.

It appealed to all leaders, civil societies and the public to prioritize peace and unity.

The Zeliangrong Baudi urged the Government to take immediate initiative and implement time bound measures to facilitate dialogue and resolve the issue.

Pro-active steps from the authorities will ensure stability and protect the interests of all communities involved, it added.
