Imphal, December 13 2025: Salai Kanba Lup(SKL) on Saturday organised a reception ceremony in honour of Salaicha Mayengbam Ranjita, recipient of the Millionaire Farmer of India Award 2025 .

Also known as Fanner Icon 40 under 40 Award 2025, Millionaire Farmer of India Award 2025 was handed over to Ranjita in New Delhi on December 8.A resident of Thoubal Khunou, Ranjita is not only a successful pineapple grower but also an entrepreneur who turns leftover pineapple leaves into yam and clothes.

The ceremony, held at SKL office in Sangaiprou was graced by SKL chairman Leichonbam Gopal, vice chairman Leishangthem Inaocha and other members of the organisation.

Moreover, a reception ceremony for renowned cultural activist and Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee Narendra Ningomba was held at the office premises of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch in MG Avenue on Saturday.

The ceremony was graced by IRCS Manipur State Branch vice president Dr RK Nimai Singh, vice chairman Dr Laishram Manglem and former chairman Dr Yanglem Mohen and other members of IRCS Manipur State Branch.
