Imphal, March 13 2025:
Kangleipak Communist Party (PWG) MC Unification has encouraged the people to take part in sports events organised during Yaoshang festival, while extending its heartfelt greetings on the occasion.
The armed organisation, however, asked people to remain on high alert to neutralise the 'opium war' being waged by Kuki narco-terrorists since May 3, 2023 to destroy Kangleipak (Manipur) .
According to a statement of KCP (PWG) issued by PRO Chingkheinganba, the organisation considers the ongoing war since May, 2023 till date as a part of the 'opium war' waged by Great Britain from 1839 to 1842 and from 1856 to 1860 by France in China as non-origin Kukis were brought by the British into Kangleipak (Manipur) as their labourers in 1820s.The British used Kukis in growing opium and cannabis (Ganja) in the hills of Kangleipak (Manipur) and they are now waging 'opium war' to destroy Kangleipak (Manipur).
The ongoing 'opium war' waged by the Kukis has severely affected the society of Kangleipak (Manipur) particularly sports enthusiastic youth, the statement said and appealed to people to be prepared to tackle the diabolic agenda of Kuki narco-terrorists and fight the aggressors collectively.
