Public introduction programme of DWF held

Imphal, July 12 2026: Democratic People's Front (DPF) on Sunday organised a programme to introduce members of its women's wing, Democratic Women's Front (DWF), to the public at Wangkhei Angom Leikai Community Hall.

DPF state president Narengbam Rajivkumar attended as chief guest.

DWF president Okram Nandini and Democratic Youth Front (DYF) president Konsam Premjit also took part.

Speaking at the event, DWF general secretary organisation Wahengbam Premita Leima said the Front was formed on July 2 last year at GM Hall, Imphal, in response to the present situation in Manipur.

She called on women to take a pledge to serve the State with unity and dedication.

She further highlighted DPF's key objectives including "Self-governance, Protect Manipur's integrity, Live united, Develop together and Build an equal society" .
