Spot painting competition held at Thoubal

Thoubal, June 12 2026:
An Inter-School Spot Painting Competition for students of Classes VII to X on the theme "Stop Child Labour" was held today at Evergreen Flowers' School, Thoubal Ningombam.
The competition was jointly organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal, and the Legal Aid Clinic, Kiyam Leitanpok, under the aegis of the Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) .
A total of 78 students from various educational institutions participated in the event.
In the competition, Raina Wakongthem.
a Class X student of Evergreen Flowers' School, secured the first position.
Aditi Thingujam, also of Class X from the same school, won the second position, while Ningthoujam Nonpoknganba Meitei, a Class X student, secured the third position.
The winners were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates, while all participants received participation certificates in recognition of their involvement.
Speaking on the occasion, Thingujam Arunkumar.
Coordinator of the Legal Aid Clinic, Kiyam Leitanpok, stressed that such activities help enhance students' creativity and skills, besides educating them on the need to build a child labour-free society.
