Imphal, October 09 2025: Alleging rampant wrongdoings at JNIMS, KCP(PWG) MC Unification has asked the JNIMS authority to correct the wrongdoings.

A press release issued by the outfit's PRO Chingkheinganba said that they will look into the problems and issues being faced by JNIMS staff.

It said that there are 36 AssistantNursing Superintendents at JNIMS while RIMS has just nine Assistant Nursing Superintendents.

Again JNIMS whose bed strength is 751 has 164 Nursing Sisters while RIMS which has a bed strength of 1164 has 116 Nursing Sisters.

The outfit said that rampant promotion has created a serious problem regarding who should be working.

It asked what would be the fate of those staff who have no connection.

It also questioned the logic and legitimacy of promoting 98 Nursing Sisters at one go.

The outfit said that some Assistant Nursing Superintendents have been enjoying both pension and salary besides getting promoted on the basis of seniority.

Saying that this a grave wrong, the outfit asked as to why JNIMS authority is turning a blind eye to such wrongdoings.

It went on to allege that many staff who have reached their retirement age are still working at JNIMS through repeated extension of their service periods.
