Kakching, August 09 2025: The Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Cell, Kakching of Social Welfare Department organized Tiranga Rangoli and Tiranga Rakhi competition at various Anganwadi Centres located in Kakching Wairi Kamala Pareng and Hiyanglam area under the aegis of the District Administration.

The competition was held as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign in connection with the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebration.

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National flag.

Har Ghar Tiranga or HGT campaign was launched in 2022 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
