SECF conducts Free Eye Screening Camp

Imphal, May 07 2026: Shija Eye Care Foundation (SECF), in a significant collaborative effort, organised a comprehensive one-day free eye check-up camp today at Alpha BCI Memorial Academy in Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai.

The initiative was held in partnership with several prominent organisations, including Vision Care Project (Mumbai), AIOS SEE India Project (New Delhi), and Alpha BCI Memorial Academy.

A dedicated team of eye specialists from SECF spearheaded the camp, offering professional consultations and essential eye care services to the local community.

The event saw a strong turnout, with a total of 336 individuals- including students, faculty members, and parents-receiving screenings.

Beyond initial consultations, the camp identified specific needs among the attendees.

SECF has committed to preparing and providing 29 pairs of spectacles free of cost to beneficiaries identified during the screening.
