Over 500 saplings planted under 'Seva Saptah'

Imphal, October 02 2025: As part of the "Seva Saptah", a tree plantation programme was conducted today at Khurkhul Awang Mamang Leikai under the aegis of Sekmai AC MLA H Dingo Singh.

The programme was organised in collaboration with Khurkhul Awang Mamang Leikai Development Association (KAMDA) and people of Khurkhul area on the theme, "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" .

Over 500 tree saplings were planted during the programme, said a release.

At the event, H Dingo said that as part of the "Seva Saptah" campaign which began on September 17, various activities have been conducted across the constituency.

He shared that on September 24, a Health Mela was held at Khurkhul PHC where various services, including TB screening, Cancer screening, Hemoglobin check, blood sugar test and Liver function test were provided to the people.

He asserted that the health & awareness programmes on menstrual hygiene were also conducted as part of the campaign.

M Jiten Singh, OC Sekmai PS; KAMDA president Kh Dhananjoy Singh, secretary I Premchand, executive members Y Tarzan and H Devendro Singh were also present at the event.
