Counting Observers arrive in Thoubal

Thoubal, June 02 2024:
Four Counting Observers have arrived to oversee the counting of votes for six Assembly Constituencies in Thoubal district for the 18th Lok Sabha election 2024 on June 4 .
The officials also inspected the strong rooms and oversaw the preparations made for counting of votes.
Debasis Biswas, State Civil Service (SCS) West Bengal has been put in charge as Counting Observer of 30- Lilong and 31-Thoubal AC; Jai Kishore Prasad, State Civil Service (SCS) Jharkhand in-charge of 32-Wangkhem AC; Dr Ujjwal Kumar, (UP, IAS) in-charge of 33-Heirok and 34-Wangjing Tentha and Elisha Andrews, SCS, Karnataka in-charge of 35-Khangabok AC.
Upon arriving at Thoubal, the four officials met with the RO, ARO and other important officials and inspected the vote counting hall and strong rooms.
