Snippet: Northeast India will enjoy hefty rain much to the dismay of other states which are at present experiencing heat-wave.

Adverse weather over North-East India from 1st April to 4th April 2017.An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over north Bangladesh & neighbourhood and extends upto 2.1 km above mean sea level and a trough runs from this cyclonic circulation to the south Odisha across Gangatic West Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Moderate to Heavy Rain/Thundershowers is very likely to occur at most places of Arunachal Pradesh during 01st -03rd April 2017 and thereafter the spatial distribution as well as intensity of precipitation is likely to decrease over Arunachal Pradesh with light to moderate rainfall at many places on 04th April 2017 & at a few places on 05th April 2017.Moderate to Heavy Rain/Thundershowers is very likely to occur at most places of Assam & Meghalaya during 01st -04th April 2017 and thereafter the spatial distribution as well as intensity of precipitation is likely to decrease over Assam & Meghalaya with light to moderate rainfall at many places on 05th April 2017.Moderate to Heavy Rain/Thundershowers is very likely to occur at many places Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram & Tripura (N.M.M.T.) on 01st April 2017; thereafter the spatial distribution as well as intensity of precipitation is very likely to increase over N.M.M.T.with moderate to Heavy Rainfall at most places during 02nd-04th April 2017 and thereafter the spatial distribution as well as intensity of precipitation is likely to decrease over N.M.M.T.with light to moderate rainfall at many places on 05th April 2017.Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at few places over Assam & Meghalaya on 3rd April 2017 with extremely heavy falls at isolated places.
