Imphal, February 02 2026:
The Indigenous People's Forum, Manipur (IPFM) has sounded a warning to corrupt officials at the Manipur Secretariat, vowing to crack down on graft and red tape.
In a statement, IPFM alleged that the Secretariat has become synonymous with corruption and inefficiency, with files piling up and public suffering.
"It is the bounden and constitutional duty and responsibility of the executive branch of the government to discipline and warn these irresponsible government officials for dereliction of their duties", said the Forum.
The IPFM has promised to monitor the situation, alongside other public organisations, and has urged citizens to report any instances of corruption or misconduct to the Forum on "7005410744"."We've identified some offenders, but names will be revealed at the right time", the Indigenous People's Forum, Manipur added.
