Thoubal, July 01 2026: In observance of National Doctors' Day, the Indian Medical Association - South East Manipur (IMA-SEM) Branch, in collaboration with District Integrated Strategy for HIV AIDS (DISHA), Thoubal/Kakching and Jivan Hospital, Kakching, organised a free health screening camp today at Kakching Lamkhai.

Held under the theme "Behind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?", the camp aimed to promote health awareness and provide accessible healthcare services.

Free health screening and testing facilities were provided to around 60 individuals during the programme.

The camp was attended by IMA-SEM Branch vice-president Dr Yengkhom Ashok Kumar, secretary Dr Naorem Ajit, treasurer Dr Kshetrimayum Memcha, along with members including Dr Deepak Naorem and Dr Nongmaithem Aarushi.

District AIDS Control Officer of Thoubal and Kakching, Dr Bijendra Yengkhom, along with officials and staff of DISHA and Jivan Hospital, also participated in the camp.
