Health Camp conducted

The Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC) in collaboration with Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Sagolband organised a 1-Day Health Camp at the premises of Takhellambam Leikai Youth Club (TYC), WardNo 10, today.
The health camp was conducted under the supervision of Sagolband AC MLA RK Imo Singh.
According to a release issued by the office of the MLA 11-Sagolband AC, the camp offered free OPD consultations, cancer screenings, laboratory tests, immunizations, ABHA number creation, and testing for dengue and malaria, along with free medicines and general health assessments under the Chief Minister's Health Assurance (CMHA) scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Imo said, "Health is a very important subject we are focusing on, ensuring that the general public has access to all essential benefits for their welfare.
This outreach through health camps is our way of ensuring that government benefits reach people directly in their localities.
We have been conducting these for several years now and will continue for the people of Sagolband" .
The MLA reiterated that construction of the UPHC Sagolband at Nepra Menjor is about to be completed soon.
"We expect it to be ready by March next year, and we aim to hand it over to the public during the Yaoshang season", he added.
TYC executive member Sanjenbam Seityabrata Meitei expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MLA, doctors, nurses, ASHAs and support staff of UPHC for their hard work and contribution in making the health camp a success.
