JAC presses CM to find missing youths

Imphal, September 28 2024: A JAC formed in connection with three people who went missing after they left their homes in Thoubal district for participating in SSC GD recruitment at New Keithelmanbi met chief minister N Biren and pressed him to find the three missing people.

The three missing people are identified as Oinam Thoithoi Singh, son of O Yaima Singh of Leishangthem Awang Leikai; Ningombam Johnson, son of N Ningombam Sanjoy Singh and Thokchom Thoithoiba Singh, son of Th (o) Sakhi Devi, both of them are from Khekman Maning Leikai.

A public meeting in connection with incident was held at Khekman Jilla Keithel on Saturday, during which the congregation resolved to constitute a body called JAC of Khekman in this regard.

The JAC submitted a memorandum to Thoubal deputy commissioner demanding authorities concerned to find the three missing people.

Later, the JAC held a meeting with the CM urging him to find the three and hand them over to their respective families.
