Kamjong achieves 100 per cent digitisation of enumeration forms under SIR

Kamjong, June 28 2026:
Kamjong district has achieved 100 percent digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EFs), including uncollectable forms, as the Enumeration Phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll concluded today.
The Enumeration Phase, which began on May 30, 2026, saw Block Level Officers (BLOs) visiting households across the district for distribution, collection and verification of forms.
Kamjong district, comprising one Assembly Constituency - 43-Phungyar, distributed Enumeration Forms to a total of 36,207 electors across 78 polling stations.
Of the total forms distributed, 31,705 forms were successfully digitised, while 4,502 forms were marked uncollectable due to reasons such as death, untraceable or absence of electors, permanent shifting, already enrolled status and other reasons.
The Draft Electoral Roll will be published on July 5, 2026 .
A onemonth period from July 5 to August 4 has been provided for filing claims and objections.
The notice phase and disposal of claims and objections will continue from July 5 to September 2, 2026, following which the Final Electoral Roll will be published on September 6, 2026 .
The Special Intensive Revision is being conducted across Manipur with the objective of ensuring that no eligible citizen is left out while preventing the inclusion of ineligible persons in the Electoral Roll.
