Bishnupur, September 24 2026: Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam has expressed that peace and harmony will prevail when the sanctity of the ancient culture and traditions upheld by the forefathers are strictly maintained.

He made the above statement at the inauguration ceremony of Shree Shree Nityananda Mandir, community hall and walokshang at Nachou Awang Leikai Ward no 3 under Bishnupur CD Block.

Highlighting the role of the public in peace and developmental process, the Minister called for collective efforts and support from all for the cause.

He also informed that preparation are underway for black topping activities for the Nachou village roads.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Nachou Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee Chairperson N Jadu; ADM/ADC Bishnupur Toijam Opendro; BDO Bishnupur Yaiphaba Longjam and Governor of Manipur Joint Secretary Rishikanta Loitongbam as the presidium members among others.
